Foracort 200 Inhaler, a combination drug that contains 200 mcg of Budesonide and 6 mcg of Formoterol. The major purposes of this inhaler are the maintenance management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. A long-acting bronchodilator called formoterol relaxes the muscles in the airways to facilitate breathing, while budesonide, a corticosteroid, decreases inflammation in the airways. Wheezing, shortness of breath, and tightness in the chest are among the symptoms that they assist reduce when taken together. Please be aware that the Foracort 200 Inhaler is not designed to treat severe asthma attacks. Oral fungal infections, headaches, nausea, and hoarseness are common adverse effects. Rinsing the mouth after use is recommended for patients in order to reduce the risk of oral thrush.
